About Marilynn
Marilynn Davis- Owner/Instructor
Marilynn has been an educator for 12 years, starting off in the high school classroom teaching English. She is trained in Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) and Wilderness First Responder (WFR), and serves as an EMT-B and firefighter for Jackson Hole Fire/EMS. Marilynn is also an Adjunct Professor for Central Wyoming College-Jackson Campus, a CPR instructor for the American Heart Association and the Red Cross of Wyoming. Marilynn is also a SOLO Wilderness Medicine instructor .
Marilynn is an athlete who loves yoga, mountain biking, rock climbing, and ski mountaineering. While in Vermont for 15 years, she attended the University of Vermont obtaining degrees in English (B.A.), Curriculum & Instruction (M.Ed.), and Educational Leadership & Policy Studies (Ed.D).
Marilynn and Jake met on the Kingdom Trails of East Burke, Vermont. They moved west to live in the Tetons where they both continue to teach and explore the backcountry.
